I got an inquiry in early February for a surprise Engagement session on Valentine's Day at Navarre Beach. Spencer wanted to make sure his lovely lady had the best evening of her life and planned in detail how and where we would do everything. After reviewing our options, we thought that the Navarre Fishing pier would be a great place to start. We would then move on to the beach area for the big finale, the proposal.

I got there a few minutes early, super anxious for the young couple and the big news they would be sharing soon. The beach was filled with lovers and families who enjoyed the marvelous sand sculptor that Dan the Sand Man created.

It wasn't long before Spencer, and his beautiful Asha arrived. I was relieved to see her as her planes had been delayed, rescheduled, and had all sorts of issues. We were not sure if she would ever actually make it into town. But there she was in her gorgeous pink style, and she would soon be Mrs.Hamilton.

We started on the pier taking photos of the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The pier provided some nice texture with the woods and the railing. It is so essential for me to offer a variety of textures when I am with my clients. It's nice to have options when you tell your story, especially if you are printing products for display.

After those images were taken, we moved on to our following location, which was just below and to the left of the pier. These photos were the big ones. These were the ones where he would be promising to spend the rest of his life with her.

After a quick outfit change our bride to be was ready to get engaged. She wore a gorgeous red dress that flowed in the breeze. Our groom to be was nervous but sure he would be given a "yes." It had been a long 4 year long distance relationship and now they were ready to make the next chapter of their lives forever.

We approached the water and distracted our bride long enough for our groom to get ready for the big moment. He mustured up the couragage to finally as the question and without a moments notice he was down on his knees with his ring in his hand. Love radiated out of her as she joyfully agreed to be his forever.

Then our Engagement photo session officially began and we took so many photos. It was nice on my end becuase everything was so natural and easy. No crazy posing or direction, just observing two people madly in love.

It was a perfect way to celebrate the biggest love day of the year with this sweet engagement. If you have any special moments you would like documented, please call me. I would love to chat with you on how we could make your dreams come true!

Thank you Spencer and Asha allowing me to be there for your special news. Wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter always! - Jessica
