He packed up and waited his entire life to catch a plane to Florida.
And once he arrived, he was excited to meet the sea.
A magical place that unknown to him.
He was surrounded by family for these firsts.
He was happy.

The looks of joy on his sweet granddaughters faces as they ran through the white sandy beaches and danced while the breeze blew were priceless.
He took their hands and danced without a care in the world.
He had his entire life in his hands.
Their laughter filling the air and his heart.
From a distance, he watched the beautiful life he created as the summer sun set on the horizon.
Big plans were made to come back again.

Sadly that all changed today.
He was gone.
He left this earth for his heavenly home.
And the birds sang.
But they sang a different kind of song today.
A homecoming song.

I want to tell you about him.
He was a rich man.
He knew love.
He celebrated life.
And he lived.

Don't wait for tomorrow to live today. We don't know how many tomorrow's are left for us in this world. So take the trips, eat the cake and LOVE with all your heart.

Tonight the moon is bright for you David. - Jessica

BTW, This session almost didn't happen. The weather was acting crazy and we were not sure of the evening light. We decided to proceed anyways. These were the first family photos this family ever had and now these are the last photos of their father and grandfather. Friends I don't care if you take your own photos or hire a photographer, just take the photos.
