I won't forget the way the sun hit my son's eyes when he giggled as the waves splashed him. Or the ways my daughter thought she could put the sand back into the ocean just for the wave to come and push it back. These things I tell myself constantly reminding myself to somehow stop time and lock it in. And as vivid and as fresh as they are in my mind they quickly fade like the like the summer sun when another beautiful moment catches me by surprise.

Photos are sometimes work. Sometimes inconvenient and many people don't like having them taken. I understand. But the truth is photos are sometimes all we have at the end of the day. No one is going to ever look back and think "geez I took way to many photos."

I think about my loved ones who have passed and how I searched high and low for every trace of their existence. And with every photo I was taken back to a good time. A happy moment. A moment that would be pivotal in my healing many years later. For me photos have kept me going. They have reminded me of the love, the warmth and richness I have known.

To you reading this thing about booking with me or with any other photographer here or at your hometown, it doesn't matter if you have a fancy location, perfectly styled outfits or even if you feel like you are not where you want to be. Because you are you are enough. You are alive and that's a miracle of it's own. I tell you this YOU ARE PERFECT THE WAY YOU ARE. There is no better time than today to document YOUR STORY!
